We are located at Upsete station on the Bergen Railway/Vossebanen, in the high mountains between the Hardangerfjord and the Sognefjord. The Flåm Railway runs from Myrdal station, which is the nearest station to Upsete station.

Spend a few days at Upsete. There are many opportunities for hiking in valleys such as Upsetedalen, Slondalen, Ugjerdsdalen, Gangdalen and Breidalen. In addition, there are many summit hikes such as Trollanut with views of Flåm, Fossdalsskavlen, Vossaskavlen and Øykjafonn, to name but a few. There is a T-marked trail to Kaldavasshytta and the T-marked hike to Grindaflethytta and Flåm goes from Upsete through an area so valuable that it has been included in UNESCO's World Heritage Site by the Nærøyfjord.
